Stronger Together
09-20-2020 – Pastor Debra

Stronger Together

All across the country, the body of Christ is gathering together to reflect on and to reclaim the true nature of the church as a place of Christ’s love and hope for ourselves, our friends, neighbors, communities, and world. As a church, we are the collective hands and feet of Christ, who reflect Him and do His work in the world as we grow in our relationships with Him and with each other. Everyone has a personal story and experience with the church—some good and life-giving; some bad and painful. For those of you whose experience with the church may have been painful, I am truly sorry. I may not know each of your individual stories, but I do know how deep and how wide and how high and how pure God’s love is for each of you. This Sunday we invite you to embrace “Back To Church Sunday”. Whether you are attending church for the first time, coming back after some time away, or want to continue your interaction with the church, allow God to speak to your heart and receive the new life He has for you.

Prepare for Harvest
09-13-2020 – Pastor Debra

Prepare for Harvest

Over the last few weeks we have been in a preparation period. As I prayed and put together the Sunday morning message, I continued to hear “prepare the way.” This resonates in my mind, as I envision Jesus entering Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Historically, Jesus was preparing for a season of demonstrations that would challenge Roman Imperial control. Isn’t it interesting we are in a new preparation period? Amidst the various demonstrations taking place all over the world, we are preparing the way for great revival. But before this revival manifests, we must be ready to receive the harvest. Take some time this Sunday to join me, as I share God’s word designed to prepare us for the harvest

Prepare for Victory
09-06-2020 – Pastor Debra

Prepare for Victory

Whenever we face opposition, we have the choice to stand and fight, be paralyzed by fear, or take flight. The wonderful thing about being in Christ is whatever our response, we can claim the victory. Last week we talked about opposition in terms of opposition to God and opposition to us. Today we will emphasize that no matter how much opposition comes our way we are victorious in Christ Jesus. This victory emanates as a result of our faith.
