Visitor FAQs and What We Believe

Visiting? You’ll be welcomed and made to feel at home.

What’s your style of worship?

You will experience a diversity of contemporary worship music. You may see some of your neighbors clapping or raising their hands. Some may stand while others choose to remain seated. Prayer is important to us, collectively and individually. The altar is open throughout the service to that end. Someone may even go forward to speak with God on their knees while others are singing or the pastor is preaching. We are OK with that.

What’s available for my children on Sunday mornings?

  • A nursery and preschool for newborn children through age 5 is provided during the worship service.
  • Children 6 through 11 years old join our family-style worship and receive an activity board and snack.

Will I be expected to give money?

We do not expect guests to contribute to our ministry. There is an offering box in the back of the church for our regular church goers

What We Believe

What we believe

Our forebears worked to set slaves free, and to emancipate women. Nowadays we work to put an end to sex trafficking – a modern form of slavery. We celebrate freedom in Christ to worship creatively as the Holy Spirit leads, free of rigid rules and judgmental practices. We believe our freedom was bought with a price – the cross.  Jesus Christ is God in flesh and blood, so we are compelled to know Him fully and follow His direction. We believe He calls us to not only believe for ourselves, but to offer that freedom to others both through service to give hope to the powerless and through evangelistic efforts to make Christ known to all.  What enslaves you?
